FIA represents manufacturers specialize in the latest technologies in the HVAC and Plumbing industry. Our market focus includes both the residential and commercial sectors, specializing in high efficiency boilers and water heaters, commercial hydronic equipment and energy efficient heating controls. Being a manufacturer representative, FIA is New England's point of contact for sales and product support.

Job Description – Inside Technical Sales Support

Fluid Industrial Associates, Inc. (FIA) is currently seeking a full time employee for an Inside Sales position.  Prior sales or customer service experience preferred.

Core functions of this position include:

  • Customer service and product support for local distributors,  mechanical contractors, and the engineering community 
  • System design, and product selection
  • Support of outside sales team
  • Technical Support - Troubleshooting and tech support for various products throughout our territory
  • Quote generation and order management 

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
  • Collaborates well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and an eagerness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills; personal interaction with co-workers and customers, phone conversations, and email correspondence
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Understanding and/or desire to learn: HVAC and plumbing building systems, reading construction documents, review drawings, schedules, and specifications

Job Description – Sales Engineer/Estimator

Fluid Industrial Associates, Inc. (FIA) is currently seeking a full time employee for a Sales Engineer/Estimator position.  Prior sales or customer service experience preferred.

Core functions of this position include:

  • Generating estimates/take-offs for commercial bid/spec projects
  • Customer support for FIA’s local distributors, mechanical contractors, and the engineering community.
  • System design, and product selection
  • Support of outside sales team
  • Technical Support - Troubleshooting and tech support for various products throughout our territory

Qualifications:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, or construction field preferred.
  • Collaborates well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and an eagerness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills; personal interaction with co-workers and customers, phone conversations, and email correspondence
