R. John Teller

R. John Teller

In April 1964, Edward F. Ford and John Ivester formed Ford & Ivester Company. Ed Ford, previously the National Sales manager of Bell & Gossett, joined forces with a minority partner, John Ivester, who had been a B&G salesman for over twenty-five years.

The company was purchased in 1978 by R. John Teller and the name was changed to Fluid Industrial Associates, dba FIA Inc. Through R. John’s leadership, the company’s philosophy and direction, as we know it today, began to evolve. New product lines were added and John’s vision of an educational center to train FIA’s customers and employees began to take shape.

In 1983, John’s dream became reality as a new facility was built in Woburn, Massachusetts, with a full educational center. Since that time, the training center has focused on providing education to engineers, contractors and wholesalers, as well as to FIA employees.

In 1995, R. John Teller became CEO and John T. Teller assumed the responsibilities of President. In 2002, John T. Teller purchased 100% of the stock from R. John Teller and became President and CEO.
